D stands for dimension. The number in front of "D" is for the amount of extensions applied to a single healthy lash. For example, 3D means there are 3 lash extensions applied to a single healthy lash.
Each set looks differently on everyone. The amount of natural lashes you have will make a 3D set look more or less full on one client to the next. Generally speaking, if you are looking for a "mascara look" the 1D set is perfect for you. 2D & 3D gives you a bit more volume but still look natural. 4D, 5D & 6D are typically dramatic. 6D is the fullest set we have.
Yes! Once you get into volume lashing (2D+) you can go up and down in volume as you wish. If you have the 1D set you CAN NOT get a 2D+ fill in. You will have to book for a 2D+ full set. 1D is NOT volume lashing.
